Defeat of Evil Cabal
Just Getting Started

1) Thorough investigation of the Evil Cabal and their co-conspirators. Glad John Conyers is Chairman of the House Judicial Committee, that should help with the subpoenas.

2) Impeachment, in the case of Bush and Cheney, then indictment, trial, conviction, imprisonment, and/or handing over to international war crimes tribunal.

It is our understanding that upon a vacancy in the offices of the President and Vice-President, the Speaker of the House assumes the office. With President Nancy Pelosi in the White House, we can get down to work.

bush war criminal

3) Indictments, trials, convictions of Douglas Feith, Richard Perle, Paul Wolfowitz, David Wurmser, Donald Rumsfeld, Condaleeza Rice, John Negroponte, Rove, Libby, most of the PNAC Cabal and their co-conspirators. Life imprisonment for these criminals, at a minimum. Might as well round up Henry Kissinger too.

4) Confiscation of all property, corporate and personal, from the Evil Cabal's war profiteer boosters and oil plutocrat benefactors. Long prison terms where appropriate. Reimbursement, wherever possible, of the victims of their crimes.

5) Force Israeli terrorists out of West Bank and Gaza, using American military if necessary. Confiscation of weapons of mass destruction from this rogue state, capture and war crimes trials of its leaders. Force terrorist state of Israel to compensate its victims wherever possible, and to repay all the money they owe us American taxpayers. Thorough investigation of Israeli lobby, with indictments where appropriate.

Beit Hanoun Massacre: Reuters 08 Nov 2006

Scenes of Qana Massacre 1996

6) Total dismantling of the spoils system of government, investigation and indictment of lobbyists where appropriate.

7) Immediate action to halt environmental devastation in all its manifestations, whatever the cost. Like we have a choice?

8) Dismantle the military-industrial-intel-financial network that allows cancers like the Bush admininstration to take root and fester.

9) Reform of the Democratic party, which is not as corrupt as the Republican, but is still pretty damn corrupt. Especially drive the AIPAC out of our government. Do you hear me, Barbara Mikulski, Hillary Clinton, John Edwards, Steny Hoyer?

10) Immediate withdrawal of all U.S. forces from the Middle East, except where needed to keep terrorist state of Israel under control.

11) Restoration and expansion of ALL CIVIL RIGHTS revoked under the yoke of the Evil Cabal. Revokation of the PATRIOT ACT. Strict enforcement of the BILL OF RIGHTS.

12) Reversal of all tax cuts favoring the Cabal, with retroactive taxation on the top 1% income bracket to make up for the windfall during the criminal Cabal's reign. Proceeds to go to pay off the monstrous national debt that represents the Cabal's pillaging of our childrens' future.

13) More TBD

VIRGINIA, FLORIDATED
Published by Greg Palast November 8th, 2006 in Articles

Rather than gossip about the dunking of The Don, Id rather focus on suspicious electoral arithmetic in Virginia.

Only 7,000 votes separates the Democratic Senatorial candidate Jim Webb from incumbent Republican George Allen. Leading up to the election, the State of Virginia rejected more than 91,000 names submitted from voter drives, blocking their registrations. The Brennan Center for Justice at New York University Law School says that Virginia's methods of rejecting voters had a notably racial bias. Golly. Put the two numbers together  the 91,000 citizens questionably barred from voting and the teeny-weeny Senate vote margin, and Virginia begins to look a lot like Florida on the Potomac. The blockade of voters at the Virginia polling station doors followed on last year's promise of Republican National Committee Chairman Ken Mehlman to mount a,  'challenge to voter eligibility' in Virginia. Mehlman vowed, through an attack on the voter rolls, to 'do whatever we can' to keep control of Virginia. And he did. Voters blocked (and other purged from voter rolls) received 'provisional ballots.' The state only counts about 15% of these.

You do the math and tell me who really won Virginia and the Senate.

And let's not talk about the Montana vote - and we won't now that Rumsfeld's useless carcass has been thrown in front of the TV cameras.

I'm not buying it. Americans didn't end up in a Vietnam on the Tigris because of Rumsfeld's failure of command. The problem was, and is, the failure of Rumsfeld's Commander-in-Chief.

Rumor? Truth?
More Americans Dead in the
Failed Quest for Empire?

Truth or rumor? Around 300 American soldiers killed near Baghdad in explosion at Falcon Camp in October, news suppressed by government propaganda machine. There's rumors on the Internets.

Here's the report on DailyKos

Acording to a number of news sources on the web, none of them what is considered mainstream, are all over this story. From reading the Global Research website I learn that there are conflicting reports on the number of casualties, or even the number of people stationed at the base. The numbers run from 100 to 5,000. As you read down that page on Global Research you can see that there are many conflicting reports, one Arab station even say that they think a Tactical Nuke exploded in the fire.

Here's an apocryphal report found on YouTube

Corrupt Maryland Governor Busted in Money Laundering Scheme

Baltimore 'Sun' Scoop: Governor Had to Return Half a Million in Campaign Funds

Published: November 03, 2006 1:15 PM ET
BALTIMORE Gov. Robert Ehrlich returned more than $540,000 in political contributions to the Republican Party after state elections officials discovered that a federal account was used to funnel funds to his re-election campaign.

Mr. Steele's Politics as Usual

The real candidate of the Washington establishment

Saturday, November 4, 2006; Page A22

AS HE CLOSES out his campaign for the U.S. Senate in Maryland, a central theme for Lt. Gov. Michael S. Steele has been to paint himself as an agent of change and his Democratic opponent, Rep. Benjamin L. Cardin, as the candidate of the proverbial Washington establishment. In fact, Mr. Steele, a Republican, is the real go-along-to-get-along candidate in the race.

Despite his efforts to construct an image as an independent-minded newcomer, there is nothing in Mr. Steele's past -- no achievement, no record, no evidence and certainly no command of the issues -- to support it. Pressed on energy or the environment, health care or North Korea, he tells reporters that he would get "all the players in the room." That sounds fine but means nothing; he's running to be a senator, not a meetings coordinator. He proposes a list of big-ticket spending programs but offers no convincing idea about how they might be paid for. He knocks special-interest politics but is flush with campaign cash thanks to a team of GOP lobbyists.

Three Pathetic Little Men

The ten-year-old recoiled in horror at the image on the television. An American politician lay dying in a pool of his own blood.

The boy felt a hand on his shoulder. "Son, he had to be stopped somehow. So this is really a good thing after all."

Somewhat confused, but relieved, the boy went to his Catholic school the next day.

'"Class, Senator Robert F. Kennedy has been shot", the nun reported somberly.

"Good, I hope he dies" blurted out the boy, repeating the sentiment his father had imparted to him.

No one at the school ever forgot that incident. And the boy, punished and humiliated by the teachers and students, never forgot how it happened.

The pathetic little man had three sons, two of which became pathetic little men in their own way.

Maryland College Students: How much has your tuition been raised in the past four years? University of Maryland students, compare what tuition rates were four years ago under Governor Parris Glendening with what the are now under Republican Governor Robert Ehrlich.

You can count on Republicans Robert Ehrlich and his lackey Senator Wannabe Michael Steele to keep higher education out of the reach of typical Americans with typical eroding incomes, while using the money to help the corrupt Republicans feather the nests of the ultra-wealthy war profiteers, oil plutocrats, and other corrupt swine they serve.

Count on Republican Michael Steele to do what Republicans do best: serve the wealthy and screw the rest. Including you. Including especially African Americans.

They don't WANT you to have an education. They want you working for THEIR businesses at sub-minimum wages, and watching Fox News at night. Silent and  tame. Ignorant of the issues, and helpless to oppose them. They make the military look like a good option for you.

This November 17-19, civil rights movement leaders, torture survivors, grandmothers, war veterans, faith communities, union organizers, families, puppeteers and social justice activists from across the Americas will converge on Fort Benning, Georgia, to speak out against the SOA/WHINSEC and to change oppressive U.S. foreign policy. At the same time, social movement activists will gather in Central and South America, calling for an end to U.S. intervention and the closure of the SOA/WHINSEC. Together, and in numbers too big to be ignored, we will take a stand for justice, peace and accountability and against the racist system of violence and domination that is represented by the SOA/WHINSEC. Republican Economy Doing Great!

If you are an Oil Plutocrat, War Profiteer, or in the upper 1% income bracket.

For the rest of us, real wages have fallen. Millions of Americans have fallen into poverty.  And your kids and my kids have to pay back the national debt that has nearly DOUBLED under the Republican pillage system.

There are 15,000 homeless here in the Washington DC area alone.

They attack your health care, your Social Security, your wages, you chance at an education, your job, your quality of life.

The republicans DID solve one economic problem: the Clinton Budget SURPLUS. Now we have record deficits year after year.

The economy is founded on running up the national debt. Any fool can look prosperous for a short time while maxxing out his credit cards.

THE COOL THING ABOUT BEING REPUBLICAN

You can have your VERY OWN set of facts in a totally separate alternate reality!

In Republican World (TM), outing a CIA agent to punish her husband for speaking out against Bush is a clever political maneuver, while voicing any criticism of the war in Iraq or the war on terror is blatantly unpatriotic, treasonous and outright indefensible.

In Republican World (TM), LYING UNDER OATH to a grand jury is a meaningless technicality and 'criminalization of politics' if the perjury relates to a war costing tens of thousands of lives and hundreds of billions of dollars, but the same offense is grounds for impeachment if it is about an affair between two consenting adults.

In Republican World (TM), doling out top FEMA jobs to your unqualified cronies is just good manners, while pointing out that their incompetence may have killed thousands is engaging in a nasty 'blame game'

In Republican World (TM), lying about WMDs and 'fixing intelligence around war plans' that ultimately killed 2,000 troops and up to 100,000 civilians does nothing to damage the reputation of the US, but a Newsweek article that causes riots and approximately 15 deaths is the scandal of the century.

In Republican World (TM), getting over 200 of your judicial nominees approved while seven of the most extreme and incompetent are blocked is an unconstitutional and un-American farce while blocking or bottling up in committee SIXTY SEVEN of Clinton's nominees was good politics.

In Republican World (TM), your kids won't have to pay down a multi-trillion dollar national debt, only kids of liberals have to contribute.

In Republican World (TM), you get affordable health care and don't have to worry about going bankrupt because of catastrophic medical bills, even as HMOs are recording record profits and are paying their CEOs up to $124 MILLION / year, while at the same raising rates between 15% and 30% year over year.

In Republican World (TM), lying about a blowjob is an impeachable offense, but lying about WMD and sending troops to die is the patriotic duty of the Commander in Chief.

In Republican World (TM), a woman with a liquified cerebral cortex is reason enough to get agitated and proclaim to belong to a 'culture of life', while ignoring a whole genocide in Darfur is not considered rancid hypocrisy.

Republican Pederast Protection Program:
How Far Will This Scandal Go?

The file naming the husband of Congresscritter Heather Wilson (R-NM) in charges of "inappropriately touching a minor (boy)," which allegedly was suppressed by Congresswoman Wilson when she was a State official almost a decade ago, has been obtained by RAW STORY.

In 1995, just three days into her tenure as Secretary of the New Mexico Children, Youth and Families Department, Wilson removed from NMCYF Department records a routine working file alleging that Wilson's husband had engaged in inappropriate contact with a minor. The file was then transferred to the department's attorney in Wilson's own Albuquerque office, where, mysteriously, it soon went missing.

Six years after the incident, in 2001, Wilson began a three year term on the House Page Board, where she sat while rumors of Mark Foley's inappropriate behavior with underage men were reportedly widespread.

Wilson also currently serves on the Congressional Missing and ExploitedChildren's caucus, from which disgraced ex-Congressman Foley was forced to resign when he recently quit Congress in the wake of the scandal.

You know that other country that we're still at war with, how about discussing the great achievments? We can only read other newspapers like the London Times to get the reality:

"But there is a huge gap between the reality on the ground and the remarkable progress claimed by western diplomats who sit in fortified compounds behind guards and concrete blocks and who never leave Kabul. The only area in which the country could really be said to have made remarkable progress is in growing the poppy. Under British supervision, Afghanistan has become the worlds biggest opium producer. Last year it produced 6,100 tons 92% of world supply.

Afghanistan is engulfed in its bloodiest violence for 10 years. At least 3,000 people have been killed this year more than twice last years total.

For all the talk of girls education, only 5% of those of secondary school age are enrolled. More than 300 schools have been burnt down this year or shut after threats from militants, leaving 200,000 pupils with nowhere to go.

There have been no significant water or power projects and two highways built with western aid have become almost no-go areas. The Kabul to Kandahar road is plagued by Taliban militants setting up fake checkpoints, killing Afghans accused of collaborating."

The next day he is back and once again asks to speak to President Bush. The Marine again says, "President Bush Doesn't live here any more." The man nods and leaves.

The next day, the old man is back for a third time and asks the same thing. The Marine says, "For three days you have asked to speak to President Bush and I have told you he doesn't live here any more. Don't you understand?"

The old man smiles and says, "Oh, I understand. I just like hearing it."

The Marine smiles, salutes the old man and says, Looking forward to seeing you again tomorrow, Sir."

Bush said the real battle in Iraq was for the hearts and minds of the Iraqi people. Time for Rumsfeld to go

Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld

So long as our government requires the backing of an aroused and informed public opinion ... it is necessary to tell the hard bruising truth.

That statement was written by Pulitzer Prize-winning war correspondent Marguerite Higgins more than a half-century ago during the Korean War.

But until recently, the hard bruising truth about the Iraq war has been difficult to come by from leaders in Washington.

One rosy reassurance after another has been handed down by President Bush, Vice President Cheney and Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld: mission accomplished, the insurgency is in its last throes, and back off, we know what were doing, are a few choice examples.

Military leaders generally toed the line, although a few retired generals eventually spoke out from the safety of the sidelines, inciting criticism equally from anti-war types, who thought they should have spoken out while still in uniform, and pro-war foes, who thought the generals should have kept their critiques behind closed doors.

Center for war-related brain injuries faces budget cut

“Honestly, they would have loved to have funded it, but there were just so many priorities,” says Jenny Manley, spokeswoman for the Senate Appropriations Committee. “They didn’t have any flexibility in such a tight fiscal year.”

George Zitnay, co-founder of the center, testified before a Senate subcommittee in May that body armor saves troops caught in blasts but leaves many with brain damage. “Traumatic brain injury is the signature injury of the war on terrorism,” he testified.

Zitnay asked for $19 million, and 34 Democratic and six Republican members of Congress signed a letter endorsing the budget request.

WASHINGTON Richard N. Perle, the former Pentagon advisor regarded as the intellectual godfather of the Iraq war, now believes he should not have backed the U.S.-led invasion, and he holds President Bush responsible for failing to make timely decisions to stem the rising violence, according to excerpts from a magazine interview.

Perle a leading neoconservative who chaired the Pentagon’s defense advisory board for the first three years of the Bush administration is quoted in January’s Vanity Fair as saying the U.S. might have been able to strip Saddam Hussein of his ability to build unconventional weapons “by means other than a direct military intervention.”

“I think if I had been Delphic, and had seen where we are today, and people had said ‘Should we go into Iraq?’ I think now I probably would have said, ‘No, let’s consider other strategies for dealing with the thing that concerns us most, which is Saddam supplying weapons of mass destruction to terrorists,’ ” Perle said, according to interview excerpts released Friday by the magazine.

Perle’s about-face is the latest in a series of war recriminations by neoconservatives, many of whom blame Iraq’s spiraling violence on the administration’s management of the postwar stabilization effort.

BEIT HANOUN, Gaza Strip - Women collapsed in grief, a man hoisted his dead baby aloft and tens of thousands of Palestinians called for revenge Thursday as they jammed a cemetery for the funeral of 18 civilians killed in an errant Israeli artillery attack.

The shells landed Wednesday as residents were sleeping in the northern Gaza town of Beit Hanoun, and witnesses said many were killed as they fled their homes in panic.

Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert said the artillery was meant to hit an orange grove from which troops saw rockets fired seconds earlier, but instead hit homes in Beit Hanoun, some 1,500 feet away.

The Israeli army said Thursday that an investigation indicated the casualties were caused by a technical failure in the fire control system of an artillery battery, the first official military confirmation that army shellfire was responsible.

is a large-scale effort of many anti-Israel groups to promote divestment from Israeli companies and to lobby the U.S. Congress to end U.S. support for Israel as long as it occupies the West Bank and Gaza Strip. It was formed during the spring and summer of 2001, when groups of activists met in New York and Washington, D.C., to address the American role in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. The group was co-founded by Josh Ruebner, a pro-Palestinian activist who has accused Israel of committing ethnic cleansing of Palestinians. I removed more checks and balances and have the least congressional oversight of any presidential administration in US history.

I rendered the entire United Nations irrelevant.

I withdrew from the World Court Of Law.

I refused to allow inspector's access to US prisoners of war and by default no longer abide by the Geneva Conventions.

I am the first president in US history to refuse United Nations elections inspectors access during the 2000 elections.

I am the all-time US record holder for the most corporate campaign donations.

The biggest lifetime contributor to my campaign, who is also one of my best friends, presided over one of the largest corporate bankruptcy frauds in world history (Kenneth Lay, former CEO of EnronCorporation)

I spent more money on polls and focus groups than any president in US history.

I am the first president to run and hide when the US came under attack (and then lied, saying the enemy had the code to Air Force 1).

I am the first US president to establish a secret shadow government.

I took the world’s sympathy for the US after 9/11, and in less than a year made the US the most resented country in the world (possibly the biggest diplomatic failure in US and world history).

I am the first US president in history to have a majority of the people of Europe (71%) view my presidency as the biggest threat to world peace and stability.

I changed US policy to allow convicted criminals to be awarded government contracts.

I set the all-time record for the number of administration appointees who violated US laws by not selling their huge investments in corporations that later made bids for gov. contracts.

I have removed more freedoms and civil liberties for Americans than any other president in US history.

I have created the most divided country in decades, possibly the most divided that the US has been since the Civil War.

I entered office with the strongest economy in US history and in less than two years turned every single economic category heading straight down.

I have at least one conviction for drunk driving in Maine (Texas driving record has been erased and is not available).

I was AWOL from the National Guard and deserted the military during time of war. I refused to take a drug test or even answer any questions about drug use.

All records of my tenure as governor of Texas have been spirited away to my father’s library, sealed in secrecy and unavailable for public view. All records of any SEC investigation into my insider trading or bankrupted companies are sealed in secrecy and unavailable for public view.

All minutes of meetings of any public corporations for which I served on the board are sealed in secrecy and unavailable for public view. Any records or minutes from meetings I (or my VP) attended regarding public energy policy are sealed in secrecy and unavailable for public review

I have borrowed more money from more countries than all other Presidents combined.

From Capitol Hill Blue
Rational Reporting of Politics Without Partisanship

Republican Congressional leaders filed into the Oval Office to meet with President George W. Bush and talk about renewing the controversial USA Patriot Act.

Several provisions of the act, passed in the shell shocked period immediately following the 9/11 terrorist attacks, caused enough anger that liberal groups like the American Civil Liberties Union had joined forces with prominent conservatives like Phyllis Schlafly and Bob Barr to oppose renewal.

GOP leaders told Bush that his hardcore push to renew the more onerous provisions of the act could further alienate conservatives still mad at the President from his botched attempt to nominate White House Counsel Harriet Miers to the Supreme Court.

“I don’t give a goddamn,” Bush retorted. “I’m the President and the Commander-in-Chief. Do it my way.” “Mr. President,” one aide in the meeting said. “There is a valid case that the provisions in this law undermine the Constitution.”

“Stop throwing the Constitution in my face,”

Bush screamed back.

“It’s just a goddamned piece of paper!”

THE SCHIZOPHRENIA OF AMERICAN MIDDLE EAST POLICY

There is no area where general information is as profoundly at odds with what is known in the United States compared to what is known in the rest of the world as with questions dealing with the state of Israel and the Middle East. Thanks to the powerful pro-Israel Lobby and its propaganda (Hasbara) machine, Americans seem to live on a different planet than the rest of the world.

Americans, for example, are far more likely than Europeans to side with Israel in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. A Pew Global Attitudes survey taken between March and May (2006) found that 48 percent of Americans said that their sympathies lay with the Israelis; only 13 percent were sympathetic towards the Palestinians.

By contrast, in Spain for example, 9 percent sympathized with the Israelis and 32 percent with the Palestinians. The main reason for this cleavage is the fact that Americans do not receive the same news as the rest of the world. In the U.S., news directly or indirectly involving Israel is filtered, slanted and adjusted by spin organizations in order to present Israel as the innocent victim, even when it does the killing and the destruction, as its indiscriminate bombings of civilian areas in Lebanon, during the summer of 2006, amply demonstrated.

Prowling Baghdad with a sidearm and a defective bulletproof-vest

By Mike Whitney

None of the people who started this war will ever be held accountable. In fact,
the cabal of militarists, think-tank sycophants, and genocidal nutbars, who
operate covertly behind the scenes, are probably devising their next bloodbath
already. Unless we root them out, the cancer will persist.

Where Plan A Left Ahmad Chalabi

1. London, August 2006

Many miles away in a more dangerous place the dream is ending badly. The bodies pile up. Good people stream to the borders. Leaders pile money onto planes. The center is giving way.

The apartment on South Street in London is an antidote to Baghdad in nearly every respect. Where the Iraqi capital rings with chaos and violence, the sidewalks of Mayfair are quiet enough to hear your own voice above the cars. Baghdad is treeless and tan; the South Street apartment opens onto a private park filled with the lushness of an English garden. Just across the way is the Anglican church where General Eisenhower, stationed here as the commander of Allied forces during the war, came to pray. A maid greets you at the door, an elderly Lebanese woman who doubles as an Arabic teacher for the children.

The parlor is neatly appointed and filled with art, most of it European, different from the Baghdad house, where most of it is Iraqi. There is “Sketch of a Woman,” by Lucien Pissarro, the French painter who propagated Impressionism in London; it catches the light nicely. The furniture is expensive, the kind that makes you hesitate to sit down. But the place has a lived-in quality too; family members come and go, clutching bags and calling to one another down the hallways. No one seems the least bit awed by the man of the house, who is dressed in a bespoke suit and carries himself like a monarch, and who, until now, hasn’t spent more than a day at a time here since before the Iraq war began.

For Ahmad Chalabi, Iraq is an abstraction again. Once again, his native country is a faraway land ruled by somebody else, a place where other people die. It’s a place to be discussed, rued, plotted over, from a parlor on an expensive Western street. Iraq’s new leaders, the men who excluded Chalabi from the government they formed this spring, still call for advice — several times a day, Chalabi says. He is here in London, his longtime home in exile, temporarily, he says, taking his first vacation in five years. At lunch at a nearby restaurant an hour before, he ordered the sea bass wrapped in a banana leaf. He walks the streets unattended by armed guards.

But the interlude, Chalabi says, is just that, a passing thing. His doubters will come back to him; they always have. As ever, he wears a jester’s smile, wide and blank, a mask that has carried him through crises of the first world and the third. Still, a touch of bitterness can creep into Chalabi’s voice, a hint that he has concluded that his time has come and gone. Indeed, even for a man as vain and resilient as Chalabi, his present predicament stands too large to go unacknowledged. Once Iraq’s anointed leader — anointed by the Americans — Chalabi, at age 62, is without a job, spurned by the very colleagues whose ascension he engineered. His benefactors in the White House and in the Pentagon, who once gobbled up whatever half-baked intelligence Chalabi offered, now regard him as undependable and — worse — safely ignored. Chalabi’s life work, an Iraq liberated from Saddam Hussein, a modern and democratic Iraq, is spiraling toward disintegration. Indeed, for many in the West, Chalabi has become the personification of all that has gone wrong in Iraq: the lies, the arrogance, the occupation as disaster.
